Doce Gotas started as a dream in the late 1990's. Twenty three acres of lush
jungle and vast wildlife near the heart of Montezuma — one of Costa Rica's last Bohemian beach
towns.

Dreadlocks, flip flops and board shorts were my daily attire when bopping
around this Folly Beach-style throwback town. True and local then, still true, local and
Bohemian today.

Doce Gotas translates to 'Twelve Drops,' capturing the transformation of this
vast jungle farm—where monkeys play freely and native fruits and plants grow wild—into twelve
drops of paradise.

Six of these 12 Gotas will be sold to a select few, while the remaining six
will be retained by the Lesesne family for generations to come.
